You need: (1) a ClawBox unit, (2) a power source, (3) an internet connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi), and (4) at least one API key from a supported LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). Setup takes under 60 seconds.

Once connected to your network, navigate to http://clawbox.local in your browser. The setup wizard will guide you through adding API keys and configuring routing policies.

CheapRouter supports all major providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Cohere, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. New providers are added regularly via software updates.

Yes. ClawBox exposes an OpenAI-compatible API endpoint. If your app uses the OpenAI SDK (Python, Node.js, etc.), simply change the base_url to your ClawBox's address. No other code changes needed.

CheapRouter automatically detects failures (outage, 429 rate limits, timeouts) and routes the request to the next available provider. Your application receives a response as normal — the failover is transparent.

By default, ClawBox does not store the raw content of prompts or responses. It only stores metering data (token counts, timestamps, model used) and metadata for billing and audit purposes. Full content logging is available as an opt-in feature for debugging.

No. API requests go directly from ClawBox to the AI provider. Clawland Inc does not receive, intercept, or store your API traffic. The only data sent to our servers (if enabled) is anonymous usage statistics for product improvement, which can be opted out.
